Endo Gutta Pack is a 3D downpack obturation system with temperature adjustable from 90 °C to 250 °C: the plugger reaches 200 °C in 0.2 seconds and 250 °C in 0.5 seconds. The handpiece has 5 memory programs (T1 to T5), to be set according to the obturation material and clinical needs. For each program you set the temperature, the “Keep-heat Time” (3, 5, 8 or 10 seconds) and the “CoolingDisplay” time (3, 5, 8 or 10 seconds).

Endo Gutta Pack comes with three color-coded pluggers: S 40/0.025 black (ref. PR00ENDOGPS), M 50/0.05 yellow (ref. PR00ENDOGPM) and L 60/0.06 blue (ref. PR00ENDOGPL). Only the end of the plugger heats up, about 4–5 mm, which is the area used to cut the gutta-percha. The plugger heats only internally and the non-working part stays cool: no insulating sleeves are needed, and changing the tip is safer for both patient and clinician.

With Endo Gutta Pack, you heat the plugger by pressing and holding the 360° activation ring on the handpiece: the LED lights up and the display shows the heating time and real-time temperature. Heating stops when the set time is reached. When you release the ring, the plugger cools down in about 2 seconds, so the gutta-percha does not travel up the plugger; the display shows the cooling temperature and, once the “CoolingDisplay” time has elapsed, the device returns to standby.

Yes. The display of the cordless Endo Gutta Pack handpiece suits both left-handed and right-handed users and shows temperature and heating time in real time. The handpiece weighs 138.8 g with the plugger fitted and 126.1 g without.

From the Endo Gutta Pack advanced settings you can adjust the auto power-off (5, 10 or 15 minutes) and the beep volume (0 to 2), and restore factory settings. The advanced settings are accessed with the device switched off.
