Yes. Endo Plus CL includes a library of preset programs for the most widely used root canal instrument systems: when you select a system, the rotation mode, speed and torque are set automatically. The manual advises against changing the preset values unless you are sure of the parameters, to avoid instrument breakage.

Endo Plus CL offers three rotation modes: FWD (clockwise), REV (counterclockwise, signaled by an audible alarm) and ATC. In ATC mode, when the set torque is exceeded, the instrument reverses its direction of rotation and returns to the original direction as soon as the load is back to normal.

Endo Plus CL reduces the risk of endodontic instrument fracture with its Anti-Breakage system, which combines an adjustable torque limit, ATC mode and automatic apical functions. It is still essential to set the parameters according to the instrument in use, replace instruments when needed and avoid excessive pressure in the canal.

They are automatic functions of the apex locator integrated into Endo Plus CL. Auto Start begins rotation when the instrument enters the canal and Auto Stop stops it when the instrument is withdrawn. Apical Reverse reverses the direction of rotation when the set apical reference point is reached, while Apical Slowdown reduces speed as the instrument approaches that point. Alternatively, you can choose Stop, which halts rotation, or Off, which leaves it unchanged.

The Endo Plus CL contra-angle, file clip, lip hook and insulating sleeve are autoclavable. They must be sterilized before first use and after every treatment, individually pouched, with a steam autoclave cycle at 134 °C for at least 5 minutes.
